Rochester Lioness Survived Abduction — Her Book, Art, and Song Tell All

Rochester Lioness Survived Abduction — Her Book, Art, and Song Tell All

Rosie Doberman — Two Illustrations Finished: Three Blocks Left to Home

This chapter of Rosie Doberman traces the shortcut path that led to my childhood home in 1976 — three blocks where my life almost ended before it truly began.

When I began the first pastel illustration for Rosie Doberman, the story started drawing itself. I began with his eyes — they still burn, live. The chalk blurred, the memory sharpened. Blue tops. Dark bottles. Pabst.

My angels whispered the truth my child-self couldn’t name, and every pastel stroke helped lift another layer off the door I’d once kept closed.

Two illustrations finished — and I’m still drawing courage, strength, and faith through color, light, and the grace of remembering.

Snow Sculptures and Silent Stories

Snow Sculptures and Silent Stories

By Lisa Loucks-Christenson, Author, Illustrator & Photographer

Snow Sculptures and Silent Stories

The March 17, 2026 light snow transformed the oak savanna into something both fleeting and eternal. Limbs were softened, prairies smoothed, and the pond gleamed beneath a silk-gray sky. Each snowflake seemed to pause midair before settling—so quiet I could almost hear their gentle landings.

It wasn’t until I crossed near the pond that I noticed a story imprinted in the snow. The marks were unmistakable: the deep, sweeping pattern of a barred owl’s wings meeting the lighter, faster trail of a squirrel’s last steps. I wasn’t there to see it, but the scene left behind was textured with truth and instinct—a silent conversation between predator and prey.

I followed the traces only far enough to respect the moment left behind, and then I turned to photograph the delicate snow sculptures forming across the prairie. The shapes reminded me that even in loss, there is artistry—nature’s way of recording what the heart might otherwise resist.

Oak Savanna Winds: Blue Lupine releases March 31, 2026, capturing moments like these that unfold quietly in the sanctuary.

Rochester Blizzard Buries Oak Savanna, Teasing Spring Lupine Dreams

Rochester Blizzard Buries Oak Savanna, Teasing Spring Lupine Dreams

Rochester Blizzard Buries Oak Savanna, Teasing Spring Lupine Dreams

By Lisa Loucks-Christenson, Publisher
Rochester, Minnesota--March 15, 2026

A relentless blizzard hammered Rochester late afternoon into the last half hour of light today, draping a distinctive non-traditional oak savanna under heavy white. Flurries lashed ancient oaks still holding fall leaves, obscuring prairie soils awaiting this spring's wild lupine seeds on this private sanctuary.

Landowner and author Lisa Loucks-Christenson grabbed her camera for raw, unscripted footage: wind howling through the snowbound oaks and grasses, a mere couple minutes capturing nature's raw pivot. Watch it here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/fjenchsaeb4mlbxu75d65/20260315_212048.mp4

"The blizzard fades fast," she said, "but my book locks this savanna in eternity with photos, field notes, and stories."

Debut Book Chronicles Defiant Landscape

Oak Savanna Winds: Blue Lupine opens with Blue Lupine, hitting Amazon March 31, 2026. This Rochester gem sidesteps classic oak savanna molds—merging prairie fringes, oaks, upcoming lupine patches, butterflies, and life tales carved from the soil.

Unedited video feeds the true-life saga: adventures unfolding in a dynamic haven.

Lisa Loucks-Christenson's Allie™: From Hated Bird Species to Holy Voice Comic & Story Empire
Allergic Author Rescues "Talking" Starling Near Mayo Clinic, Ignites Faith-Filled Multimedia Empire

Rochester, Minnesota – Major award-winning and multi-#1 Amazon hot new release author, artist, and wildlife advocate Lisa Loucks-Christenson announces the launch of Allie™: From Hated Bird Species to Holy Voice Comic & Story Empire, a heartfelt memoir chronicling her improbable bond with a dusty, flightless baby starling rescued from Peace Plaza—a block from the world's iconic Mayo Clinic, once site of her bookstore.

Despite a bird allergy diagnosis, Loucks-Christenson scooped up orphan Allie™—doomed as alley demolition loomed at dawn—shrugging to her husband, "God will figure it out." Allie's™ first words in plain English? "My Head Hurts." She never taught her that.

Four years later (heading into Allie's™ fifth), the "most hated" invasive species has become a syndicated comic star (Starlingo™), Prayer Pets™ series hero, star of Adventures of Valley & Allie™ and Valentine's Adventures™, plus appearances in Courtly Cottontails™ and other comics by Lisa—all while inspiring environmental books with Chihuahua pal Valentine™ and best-selling wildlife art. Fan letters pour in, launch signings draw crowds, and Allie's™ "God-given script" spreads divine messages worldwide.

A teen hoops encounter with a wayward starling now shines as divine foreshadowing. "Looking back, it all makes sense," says Loucks-Christenson. "From allergic rescue in Rochester to holy voice empire—this is our real story of faith, banter, and flight."

Millie: The Millionaire's Mouse, Book 2, Wildlife Angel Messengers Series

Millie: The Millionaire's Mouse, Book 2, Wildlife Angel Messengers Series

Millie: The Millionaire’s Mouse
A Tiny Mouse with a Very Big Secret
Inspired by a True Story
Book 2 in the Wildlife Angel Messengers™ series

A young mouse gets her foot caught in an old trap and screams for help. The woman’s husband hears the small cry, loosens the trap, and releases her into the Minnesota cold, thinking he’s done the right thing. But when his wife finds out, her heart sinks.

Minus ten below, she steps onto the icy deck, her breath clouding in the dark. She shines her camera flashlight across the snow, scanning every corner, whispering a prayer for God to help her find the little mouse. Against the cold and the dark, she finally spots her—a tiny, trembling shape pressed against the corner of the house and garage. She scoops the mouse close, whispering, “You’re safe now,” and carries her inside.

Inside, she settles the mouse into a temporary cage for the night, spreading a soft cloth over the bottom. As she brushes her hand across the stack of court‑hearing papers on the table, she remembers the deer with the injured leg, the injured cottontail, the fox recovering from mange, and the raccoon with the sore leg limping along the garage wall. She remembers the dragonfly nymphs she saved from her beloved Pool Pond, carried carefully in a jar of water until they could flutter free. This house is more than walls; it’s a sanctuary. And now it’s under threat—not only from a real‑estate deal gone wrong but also from those who would trespass and poach on the very land that shelters them. Tenancy at will or ruse? Will she lose everything, or will the animals come to her rescue to save the one who feeds them?

The Lord answers—not with a sudden miracle, but with words that come to her heart: “Pray without ceasing.” That’s all she knows. She keeps praying for warring angels, and God keeps sending her animals and barely‑visible creatures—small, gentle helpers in the night. Will they be enough?

Inside this unlikeliest of mouse tales is a very real story: a woman fighting to save her home and wildlife sanctuary from a tangled web of judges, fraud on the court, and contempt of court—all told in a way young readers can understand and feel.

You’ve never read a mouse book like this before.
Meet Millie, no ordinary house mouse—a little creature with a secret, gleaming in the shadows, who gladly shares her tale to save the one who saved her.
Perfect for readers who love true‑story‑inspired adventures and heartfelt animal tales like Charlotte’s Web.

Millie: The Millionaire’s Mouse is the second book in the Wildlife Angel Messengers™ series, following Derecho Shrimp, the first book.

Lioness Shield: 33 Years Defeated - New Christian Hard Rock Confronts Barbed Wire Noose Trap

Lioness Shield: 33 Years Defeated - New Christian Hard Rock Confronts Barbed Wire Noose Trap

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

February 24, 2026
Rochester, Minnesota

Lioness Shield: 33 Years Defeated - New Christian Hard Rock Confronts Barbed Wire Noose Trap

⚠️ GRAPHIC CONTENT DISCLAIMER: This release documents real incidents of animal cruelty, death threats, and 33-year stalking. Reader discretion advised.

Lisa Loucks-Christenson unleashes Oak Savanna Winds: Blue Lupine, an explosive Christian hard rock documentary soundtrack spanning 33 years of stalking—beginning with her first death threat in 1993 (photo studio break-in, dead sparrow with eyes stitched shut hung in window), 15 years in Whitewater Valley 2005-2020 where she was cut up by barbed wire when a sudden wall appeared around her Canary Grass and cottonwoods grove, and 14 years targeting her family's National Wildlife Federation Certified Laurie (Loucks) Burt Wildlife Sanctuary.

The February 22, 2026 Breaking Point

Noose-heart-like folded wires centered her next step, but she looked down and saw it first—a rusted barbed wire trap with barbed handles laid across her private Rochester woodland documentary path. This triggered the flagship single "Lioness Shield" (140 BPM, 3:55)—written, produced, and released within hours.

33-Year Stalker Timeline:

  • 1993: First death threat—photo studio break-in, dead sparrow eyes stitched shut hung in window

  • 2005-2020 (15 years Whitewater Valley): Barbed wire cuts in Canary Grass/cottonwoods grove + sudden walls

  • 2012-2026 (14 years Sanctuary): Escalated attacks on Laurie Burt Wildlife Sanctuary

  • Feb 22, 2026: Noose-heart wire trap climax

Documented threats across phases:

  • Bullet shells with animal body parts/blood as warnings

  • Shaved steel brakes, 3 missing lug nuts + front plate removal

  • Dead sparrows (eyes sewn shut), burned bats, tortured raccoon (forensics confirmed)

  • Computer tampering, dark break-ins, barbed wire ambushes

Sanctuary Under Siege, Faith Unbroken

This private Rochester oak savanna (50+ oaks, 5+ species) endures:

  • Nesting barred owls, Cooper's hawks, red-tailed hawks

  • Foxes, coyotes, wild turkeys, white-tailed deer

  • Thousands of insects, amphibians, snakes, native plants

2026 restoration defies threats:

  • Blue lupine for endangered Blue Karner butterflies

  • Expanded milkweed monarch habitat

  • Willow Pond over exhumed pet graves (honoring sister Laurie Loucks Burt)

Conservation Legacy

1988 Minnesota Conservation Corps Vegetation Crew Member Lisa honors her "brother-like crew"—guardians then and forever—through 33 years of spiritual warfare across photo studios, Whitewater Valley groves, and sanctuary lands.

Award-Winning Author Lisa Loucks-Christenson Launches Oak Savanna Winds: Blue Lupine – 2026-2027 Documentary/Book from Private Minnesota Wildlife Sanctuary Honoring Late Sister

Rochester, MN – Conservationist, author, and illustrator Lisa Loucks-Christenson today announced Oak Savanna Winds: Blue Lupine, her major 2026-2027 project filmed on the Laurie (Loucks') Burt Wildlife Sanctuary—a private, dual National Wildlife Federation-certified habitat in Olmsted County.

Dedicated to her sister Laurie Sue Burt (d. 2011), the sanctuary restores oak savanna with blue lupine plantings for endangered Karner blue butterflies (observed 2025), tiger swallowtails, skipper moths, silk moths, sphinx moths, mourning cloaks, fritillaries, plus hawks, owls, eagles, woodland creatures, and thousands of insects/dragonflies/damselflies.

Key 2026 addition: Willow Pond, transforming an empty scar from forced exhumation of buried pets due to court fraud—under Laurie's memorial willow tree (roots cut during recovery). Complements existing Deck Pond and Pool Pond across two certified habitats with 50+ tagged oaks and native grasses.

The sanctuary inspires Loucks-Christenson's works including Hallowink Hollow™ series (25+ books), Courtly Cottontails, Toads of Telemark™, and Starlingo™ syndicated comics. Self-funded by Loucks-Christenson Publishing bestsellers such as Wolves of Whitewater Falls™, Bow Wow Detectives™, and Don't Eat Bees!, content feeds the launching Wildly Personable Show™ (Vol. 2 in progress).

"Lisa Loucks-Christenson: This shows how little changes—like lupine seeds and pond reflections—feed thousands in nature's ripple effect, turning personal loss into wild legacy."

High-resolution images, video footage, and interview opportunities available. Project updates at peacockbookswildlifeart.com.

My 9-generation raccoon family investigation uncovers illegal trapping.

My 9-generation raccoon family investigation uncovers illegal trapping.

Certified MN wildlife habitat & bird sanctuary. For 9 years I've documented multi-family coons sharing food stations like a cooperative village. "Auntie" Callie, Boston Terrier-sized, arrived tonight with trap wounds (8-14" shoulder crush span, sawtooth nose gnaw). Feb breeding season—she may carry kits.

Screams shifted from 4AM Sun-Mon to 10:30PM Fri-Sat. Fresh unnatural fibers in woods. Officials greenlight "nuisance" takedowns, but this is cruelty.

I already launched my own investigation—my documentary already crosses wildlife investigative lines with this same 9-gen family.

Wildlife filmmakers, conservationists, ethical trappers: What have you uncovered? How do communities bypass failed "nuisance" policies? MN-specific insights welcome.

Callie's eating, family intact. I'll protect them.
