Trio of Monarchs documents the day-by-day transformation of three monarch butterflies—Dolly, who begins as an egg, and Dana and Durkey, who start as caterpillars—tracking their growth, chrysalis stage, and emergence as adult butterflies. The book features Lisa’s original photographs, field sketches, and detailed observational notes collected from over 40 years of monarch research and migration studies.

Tending Monarchs, Book 2 in the Valentine and Allie Adventures Series, is an original story with illustrations by Lisa Loucks-Christenson.
